| All living creatures in this world follow their own characteristic nature except human beings. Due to the provocative actions of shara ripu and astapash –the primal vices, our senses are continuously engaged in selfish gratification of incessant desire to consume all. The mind, ignorant of its true nature submits itself to the demands of the senses and, thus, although born as human, we take part in inhuman actions. The world-wide spread of terrorist activities, communal violence, hate, distrust is ample examples of our departure from our true nature of humanity. Sri Madhab had said that in order to bring back the world into its state of equilibrium, harmony and peace the mission must be to reinstate mankind into its true nature of humanity. While explaining the attributes of humanity, Sri Madhab said these are simplicity, humility, tolerance, broadness and expansiveness. However, as we are so intensely submerged in worldliness, it is not possible for us to attain the state of humanity on our own. This can only be achieved through continuous association and following the messages and instruction of the person within whom the power of the Supreme has arisen, or, in other words Sri Guru. Thus guided by the messages and vibrations of Sri Guru the mind gets purified and takes up arms against the constant lure of worldliness. Finally a new human race will be born within whom humanity, as its true nature, has awakened bonding the entire creation into a single garland of universal love and friendship. |
