Kalpataru jagaran Sangha

Kalpataru Jagaran Sangha, a spiritual organization, was established in 1995 by Sri Nilanjan following the instructions and philosophy of Gurudev Sri Madhab. The mission of the organization is hidden within the name, itself. ‘Kalpataru’ means such a tree, whose branches and foliage spread out to protect all those who seek its shelter. Hence, the mission of this organization is to render service to the Universal Mankind. The word ‘Jagaran’ means to awaken. The world of today is being torn apart by communal violence, terrorist activities, fear of war and distrust which is causing untold suffering to many - the root cause being the dominance of inhumanity within human beings. As such, the objective of rendering service to the sufferer is to bring peace and tranquility by awakening the true nature of humanity within him. The mission of the organization is, therefore, also to ‘Awake and Awaken’.

In order to achieve its mission Kalpataru Jagaran Sangha is engaged in various activities to extend a helping hand to the suffering people. Suffering can be classified into three major categories: - physical, psychological and spiritual. In order to alleviate physical suffering the Sangha distributes VADU, a miraculous herbal food supplement that invigorates the body and removes almost all known ailments. Innumerable people who have benefited from VADU are living proof of its action. Those who are suffering from mental disorders, depression and other such ailments are gradually being transformed to confident persons through continuous interactive sessions in the Sangha’s Ashram Complex at Badu, Madhyamgram and the City Centre at Shyamnagar, Jessore Road. The Sangha also sets up Camps spread out at various locations in the city, fairs and other places of public gathering, thus attempting to reach out to as many people as possible.

Prompted by the massive response it has been receiving, the Sangha has drawn up plans to extend its activities to various parts of India by setting up Activity Centres. The first of these has been set up at Chittaranjan Park, New Delhi. It also has in its future agenda, plans to set up educational institutions aimed at building up the new generation of human race on the foundations of true nature of humanity,  charitable health institutions for providing relief to the body and soul and shelters for the sick and the needy.
